PURPOSE: Rhythmic Entrainment is a workshop using hand drums. Research shows that drumming in a group stimulates the central nervous system and improves brain function to facilitate both short-term and long-term improvement in a variety of challenges AND ITS FUN!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: While showcasing an array of drums and rhythms from a variety of cultures the workshop introduces a single, repetitive rhythm and builds into patterns that are inviting and encouraging to everyone to participate and perhaps even induce a trance-like state in the listener and players after which is felt an energy and uplifting vibration by all.

TARGET AUDIENCE: All ages, All groups including mentally and behaviorally challenged. 

DURATION: 45 min – 1 hr once a week for up to 12 weeks
SIZE: groups of no more than 20 attendees
