Laughter Yoga
PURPOSE: Laughter yoga is regarded as one of THE best medicines to wind down the effects of stress and negative thoughts. Laughter Yoga is a form of exercise from India based on the philosophy of “acting happiness”. It is a life-changing form of yoga with a body-mind approach to laughing. People who laugh often develop the ability to tolerate adverse situations. Laughing releases happy hormones called Endorphins which combat depression, and anger. Group laughter enhances interpersonal relationships and good communication connecting us as part of a healthy, non-competitive group. Laughing makes it easier to cope with life and its challenges, helping us develop a positive perspective toward every situation
